]]>The バカラ カジノ team completed a meticulous transformation of the school’s historic Alumnae Chapel – built in 1910, and one of the campus’ original buildings – into a new performing arts center and community gathering space equipped with enhanced acoustics and critical modernizations.
The full-gut renovation of the century-old chapel included the preservation of its one-of-a-kind baroque organ, as well as the restoration of its limestone façade and a full replacement of its slate roof, including structural upgrades to the wood trusses that support the chapel’s iconic vaulted ceilings. Through the preservation of approximately 80% of the renovation’s original structure, Consigli was able to support long-term campus sustainability goals by avoiding an estimated 6,000 metric tons of embodied carbon
In addition to reimagining the school’s 44,000-square-foot stone chapel into a 450-seat concert hall, Consigli also added a new 20,000-square-foot subterranean arts wing adjacent to the chapel to further expand resources for theater, music and dance. Housed beneath an accessible green roof, the sustainable new space also reduces overall energy usage by leveraging its below-grade structure’s soil thermal mass.
In addition to its Best Project recognition, Consigli also received an Award of Merit in the K-12 category for Hackley School’s Allen Center for the Creative Arts and Technology, as well as in the Restoration/Renovation category for NYBC’s new consolidated campus.
Project teams recognized by ENR’s panel of judges were evaluated on their ability to overcome challenges, contribute to industry innovation and benefit the community, as well as overall excellence in design, construction and safety execution.

]]>To bring Emma Willard School’s vision to life, Consigli transformed one of the oldest buildings on campus, Alumnae Chapel, into a state-of-the-art hub for the creative and performing arts with the capacity to – for the first time in decades – accommodate the entire school community in one space.
While maintaining its historic character and preserving its one-of-a-kind baroque organ, Consigli led a full-gut renovation of the century-old chapel, upgrading functionality and modernizing the space with enhanced acoustics and technology. Consigli also restored the chapel’s limestone façade and completed a full replacement of its slate roof, as well as the wood trusses that support the chapel’s vaulted ceilings.
Additionally, a new subterranean arts wing was built adjacent to the existing chapel to expand resources for theater, music and dance. Equipped with flexible studios, rehearsal spaces and a black box theater, the new space is housed beneath an accessible green roof that blends seamlessly into the campus landscape.

]]>The Davis Center, the College’s center for the advancement of institutional diversity, equity and inclusion, connects multiple buildings on campus and transformed existing facilities to better reflect the Center’s mission and serve current and future academic and cultural needs. Through a major new addition and comprehensive energy retrofit renovations to the 19th century Rice and Jenness Houses, the new Davis Center provides fully accessible resources and community spaces for students and faculty.
Utilizing mass timber and engineered wood hybrid materials, the all-electric project removed fossil fuel-based heating systems and was built to rigorous environmental standards to support the College’s commitment to sustainability. It is targeting Petal Certification under the Living Building Challenge, as well as strict Energy Use Index requirements to reduce energy loads on campus.

Rand also discussed her career path with Consigli, and how her experience as a woman in construction has been both rewarding and empowering.
“Construction is very tangible. At the end of the day, you’ve built something. You can see what your hard work was when you walk away… Building something tangible, going back to see the end-users enjoying the space, and knowing you had a meaningful part of putting it together is what drives me.”
