MILFORD, MA – Consigli Construction Co., Inc. today announced that President Matthew D. Consigli has been appointed to the Board of Trustees at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), one of the nation’s leading academic medical centers and a teaching affiliate of Harvard Medical School.

BIDMC’s board is made up of dedicated professionals with a wealth of personal and professional experience and a shared commitment to the hospital’s mission to create healthier communities — one person at a time — through seamless care and ground-breaking science, driven by excellence, innovation and equity. As stewards and ambassadors, members of the Board of Trustees are vital to both the BIDMC organization and its community.

“With the challenges facing healthcare today, it is so important for an academic medical center to have a board that can help drive us forward in alignment with our mission,” said Pete Healy, President, BIDMC, and Divisional President for Metro Boston, Beth Israel Lahey Health. “I look forward to collaborating with [Matt] and thank them for their willingness to serve on the Board of Trustees.”

Matthew has been actively involved in BIDMC and its mission since 2018, previously serving as the Chair of the BIDMC Leadership Board until 2022, and as a member of the BIDMC Leadership Board Nominating Committee from 2022-2025. In addition to his BIDMC leadership, Matthew also serves as the Vice Chair of the College Advisory Board for Babson College and on the Board of Trustees for the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum. He is on the Board of Directors for the Consigli Foundation, as well as a member of The Roxbury Latin School’s Board of Trustees.
